Description
The cottage consists to 2 bedrooms, one double and one single and a lounge with double sofa bed and would sleep 5 comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including a washing machine, there is a bathroom with W/C and shower. The traditional charm of this house is enhanced with traditional wooden ceilings and floors and the use of local stone throughout the house.
The garden offers a rare opportunity to escape the pace of modern life, sit on the veranda and take in the tranquil garden planted with mature Lemon, Tangerine, Plum, Fig and of course Pomegranate trees and cool off and unwind the stresses away. There is also a traditional Turkish seating area called a 'çardak' covered in cushions and also a BBQ area close to the veranda.
Dalyan has a wide variety of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets and most of these are within 10 minutes walk of the cottage, many of these offer ideal places to people watch and many also offer views of the Canal and Lycian Rock Tombs. Nearby you will also find many small markets with a wide range of goods at reasonable prices. Every Saturday Dalyan has a lively market selling everything from vegetables to 'designer' goods.

How to Get There
Dalaman Airport is served throughout the year by flights from all major UK airports as well as daily flights from Istanbul.
Dalyan is just 20 minutes transfer from Dalaman Airport and the villa is centrally located.

Dalyan is well known thanks to its proximity to the famous 7km Iztuzu Beach where the endangered Loggerhead Turtles (Caretta Caretta) lay their eggs, the beach and surrounding area is protected. As well as Loggerhead Turtles Dalyan is also home to the largest population of the Soft Shelled Nile Turtles (Trionyx triunguis).
Steeped in history Dalyan is overlooked by ancient Lycian Rock Tombs which are the last resting places of the Kings of Kaunos, meanwhile the Dalyan Canal weaves its way past the village on its way from Köyceğiz Lake to the beach.
Nearby are the ruins of the city of Kaunos, with a Roman theatre, fortifications, basilica and many other sites to be seen. Also with Mud Baths, Thermal Springs, an Historic Mosque and Scenic Walks Dalyan has it all for the perfect relaxing holiday.
